Enter the dark, atmospheric world of The Crow (Original Motion Picture Score), composed by Graeme Revell for Alex Proyas’ cult classic film. Originally released in 1994, the score complements the gothic atmosphere and emotional intensity of the supernatural action film, starring Brandon Lee as Eric Draven, a musician who returns from the dead to avenge the murder of himself and his fiancée.

Revell creates a haunting musical landscape that combines orchestral arrangements, electronic textures, industrial percussion and evocative world-music influences. The result is a distinctive blend of beauty and darkness, reflecting the film’s themes of grief, vengeance, love and redemption. Rather than relying solely on traditional horror scoring, the music moves between brooding tension and deeply emotional passages.

Released by Varèse Sarabande, this vinyl edition presents Revell’s original score separately from the film’s better-known alternative rock soundtrack. It offers listeners the opportunity to appreciate the atmospheric instrumental music that shapes the film’s emotional and supernatural world.
