Explore the musical world of one of American cinema’s most influential filmmakers with this carefully curated double LP celebrating the films of Francis Ford Coppola. Spanning landmark productions from the 1970s onwards, this compilation brings together memorable music associated with some of Coppola’s most celebrated works, showcasing the powerful role sound and music play in cinematic storytelling.

From the iconic crime saga The Godfather to the haunting atmosphere of Apocalypse Now, the psychological tension of The Conversation and the coming-of-age drama The Outsiders, the collection revisits films that have left a lasting mark on cinema. Each selection reflects a different facet of Coppola’s filmmaking, from intimate character moments to grand, emotionally charged sequences.

The compilation combines compositions by Carmine Coppola with recordings by an eclectic range of artists, including Buddy Holly, The Beach Boys and Elvis Presley, alongside classical music by Richard Wagner. This variety highlights Coppola’s distinctive approach to film soundtracks, where popular songs, orchestral compositions and carefully chosen musical cues help shape the atmosphere and emotional impact of each film.

Presented across two LPs, this collection celebrates the relationship between music and image in Coppola’s work. It offers film enthusiasts, soundtrack collectors and fans of classic recordings an opportunity to revisit the sounds behind some of cinema’s most memorable stories.
