DESCRIPTION

The The Lost Boys (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) captures the unmistakable sound of Joel Schumacher’s 1987 cult vampire classic, bringing together a collection of rock, pop and atmospheric music that became an essential part of the film’s identity. Set against the neon-lit California town of Santa Carla, the soundtrack perfectly complements the film’s blend of horror, teen comedy and rebellious 1980s style.

The album features a standout selection of artists and songs, opening with INXS and Jimmy Barnes’ “Good Times” and continuing with Lou Gramm’s “Lost in the Shadows (The Lost Boys)”, Roger Daltrey’s version of “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me” and INXS’ “Laying Down the Law.” Echo & The Bunnymen’s atmospheric cover of The Doors’ “People Are Strange” adds another defining moment to the collection.

This vinyl edition brings the iconic soundtrack back to record collectors, offering a chance to experience the music of The Lost Boys in a classic physical format. From the energetic opening of “Good Times” to the gothic atmosphere of “Cry Little Sister,” the album remains a defining snapshot of the music and aesthetic of 1980s cult cinema.

For fans of 80s rock, horror movie soundtracks, vampire films and classic vinyl, The Lost Boys (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is an essential addition to any collection. With its instantly recognisable songs and unmistakable connection to one of the era’s most beloved cult films, this is a soundtrack that continues to live forever.

Keep in consideration that manufacturing processes can always turn out to be delayed so this Release Date, acts as a guideline.

I ordered a pre-order and an in-stock item. When will they ship?

If you place an order containing both pre-order and in-stock items, your entire order will be shipped on the latest pre-order date of any pre-ordered items. If you prefer not to wait, please place separate orders.

Pre-order items have an (expected) release date noted on the product page. We typically ship these items several days before their release date to ensure that you receive the record on—or as close as possible to—the release date.
