DESCRIPTION

The Boroughs is a brand new 2026 Netflix science fiction series produced by the Duffer Brothers, the creative minds behind the global hit Stranger Things. Created and showrun by Emmy Award winners Will Matthews and Jeff Addis, the series takes place in a seemingly perfect retirement community, where a grieving newcomer’s monstrous encounter inspires him to join a misfit crew of unlikely heroes who uncover a dark secret that proves their “golden years” are more dangerous, and they are more formidable, than anyone expects.

Alongside Molina (Spider-Man: No Way Home, Three Pines), the cast includes Geena Davis (Thelma and Louise, A League of Their Own), Alfre Woodard (Clemency, Salem’s Lot), Denis O’Hare (American Horror Story, This Is Us), Clarke Peters (The Wire, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), and Bill Pullman (The Sinner, Independence Day).

The score for the series is composed by Emmy Award-nominated and BAFTA-winning composer John Paesano, known for his work on Daredevil, Spider-Man, The Maze Runner and Invincible. Drawing inspiration from the classic orchestral film scores of the 1980s and 1990s, the music blends sweeping symphonic writing with intimate, character-driven moments, reflecting the series’ sense of mystery, history, and emotional depth while grounding it in a modern, cinematic voice.

The original score of The Boroughs is available as a limited edition of 1000 individually numbered copies on yellow, white and red marbled vinyl and includes an insert with liner notes by John Paesano.

Common Questions

What does 'pre-order' mean?

A pre-order product is a product which still needs to be produced. So, after your purchase, you won’t receive this product immediately. We strive to send these on the Release Date which you can find on the product page.

Keep in consideration that manufacturing processes can always turn out to be delayed so this Release Date, acts as a guideline.

I ordered a pre-order and an in-stock item. When will they ship?

If you place an order containing both pre-order and in-stock items, your entire order will be shipped on the latest pre-order date of any pre-ordered items. If you prefer not to wait, please place separate orders.

Pre-order items have an (expected) release date noted on the product page. We typically ship these items several days before their release date to ensure that you receive the record on—or as close as possible to—the release date.
